What is business & life coaching?

We all have moments in our life when we stand in our own way. Where we get stuck. Sometimes a long-held belief is limiting our progress. Other times we are at a fork in the road and don't know which path to choose. I think of those moments as life's "bottlenecks" -- what prevents us from going from "good to great." A business & life coach provides the tools to support you during that process of questioning your thoughts and seeing the truth. A coach can help you discover a way forward that perhaps hasn't occurred to you before. 


Who needs business & life coaching?

Coaching is for anyone feeling a bit stuck in their professional and/or personal lives. I often hear clients say the following:


"I want to start a business. How do I make that leap of faith?"

"I want to grow in my leadership capabilities and make a more enduring mark on my place of work. How can I best focus my efforts? 

"I want to take my business to the next level. How can I best invest my time and resources to get there?"

"My kids are leaving the nest soon. How do I transition back into the workforce and do something I'm passionate about?"

"I'm ready to retire but not ready to stop working. But this time I want a business more in line with my passion or purpose. How do I find that?"

How often will we meet for our coaching sessions?

The first two sessions are ideally back-to-back within a 2-3 week timeframe. That's where we lay the groundwork. After that, we can increase the time between sessions to what works for you. I find a regularly scheduled date/time twice per month is a nice rhythm for most. And when we are in an established pattern, once a month can also work. Of course, if an emergency pops up, we can always change the timing of our coaching sessions. I just need 48-hours notice to reschedule.


Where will we meet for our coaching sessions?

My sessions are held on Zoom.

What will my investment be in business & life coaching?  

It depends on how many sessions you sign up for versus my online education modules. Pay-as-you-go is more per session than investing in a package. After our complimentary 30-minute consultation, I'll propose a plan of how to best move forward. 


How do I pay?

I accept payment via PayPal. So you can use your bank account or credit card. All sessions are pre-paid.


What's the best way for us to get started?

It is important for both coach and client to have a great "fit." I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation via phone to check our compatibility and discuss your needs for coaching. If we look like a great match, then I'll recommend the type of coaching support I think you need for the short-term and the long-term. Then you can decide how to proceed.


What if I have to cancel a session?

I'm happy to reschedule when something comes up if you provide 48 hours notice. 


What's my next step? 

Let me know your interest in coaching through my contact form (see below). I'll send you a follow-up email with a link to my scheduler where you can pick a 30-minute slot that works for you. Then, we'll both receive invites, and we'll be off to the races!
